We just put this new bier on tap today at Stark, so I snagged a pint after finishing my shift...
It was a clear, rich, medium/dark golden color, with light, fine carbo within. Head was a bit fluffy and slightly off-white. It ebbed quickly, but had decent lacing on the glass. Aroma had some light caramel, but mostly semi-sweet fruit. Found some apricot, peach and tangerine present. Feel had a bit of light prickle, but was mostly smooth and medium bodied.
Taste also had some nice malts, with more caramel and a smidge of toffee. Then came the fruit, with orange, tangerine, apricot, peach and passion fruit. Was like a slathering of marmalade on a thick slab of whole grain toast. Had a nice balance, with just a touch of bitterness lingering in the finish. Solid! Prosit!
