This golden colored ale has a medium body and a moderate bitterness that has long made it a pub favorite.

Poured on-tap and served in a tumbler pint, the beer is a bright, vibrant, auburn-tan coloring with a frothy, dense, off-white head. Aromas of nut and subtle spice, with a creamy character. Flavors are nutty sweet, but a little watered down. None of the spice comes through on the palate. Subtly sweet aftertaste with a clean, smooth finish. Nondescript overall.

Welcome to Manchester!!! Arrived at Manchester airport for a 1/2 marathon over in New Market. Was picked up by my bro-in-law and quickly swept away to Milly's Tavern to begin our pre-race inebriation. The Amoskeag was a solid beer, but was weak on the nose and taste. The color was Golden Yellow/light Amber with thin head that left a good lace. There was weak hop and malt on the nose, which could be used to describe the taste as well. The mouthfeel was fine...could drink alot of it if I had to. Certainly worth a try.

Pours a copper color with very minimal head and lacing. Slightly sweet, malty aroma. It's a pretty smooth, decent tasting overall beer but is a little bland. There's a slight floral taste in there mixed in with some malts. Doesn't really seem to be a typical "harvest" beer, reminds me a little more like a Lager.

This beer was a clear, golden color with white foam. The smell was malty, but mild. The taste was initially malty, followed by some hop bitterness, and finally a sweet, malty aftertaste. The mouthfeel was sweet and creamy. The body was medium with low carbonation. The drinkability was good, though it would have been better with a tad more flavor.
