Pours a black color. 1/3 inch head of an off-tan color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of sweet malt, slight roasted malt, slight hops, wood, hint of syrup, slight yeast, slight herbal, and a hint of chocolate. Fits the style of a Doppelbock. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of strong sweet malt, hint of roasted malt, hint of chocolate, alcohol, hint of wood, yeast, and slight hops. Overall, great appearance, good aroma, body, complexity, and good feel.
