Sample at the brewpub: Pours a slightly hazed pale yellow-gold color with a thin white head that burns off pretty quickly. Minimal lacing on the glass. Spice and citrus in the nose. Light, crisp body with a spicy hops character. Some fruit and malt flavors are present as well. The finish is zesty citrus and spice and leaves a mild lingering bitterness. Pretty good all around.

Spicy wheat aromatics, Curacao orange and a mild but pleasing phenolic notes with a cloudy starch hazed/unfiltered yeast in straw yellow pint glass with white dense head with good retention.
Not a Pierre Celis version but certainly an interesting rendition of the 400 yr old style. Ginger is used rather than the usual freshly-ground coriander. A spice to be used sparingly the brewers do a nice job matching ginger to compliment but not cover the orange. Med-light body with a smooth mouthfeel. This pour seemed a little flat for the style (usually effervescent from high carbonation)
A nice choice with the smoked chicken Quesedias and corn sausa with lime!
Some mild fruity spicy esters from yeast complete this refreshing wit.
