This golden ale is a great bridge beer introducing our guests to the world of microbrewed beer. Don’t let its light color deceive you, this beer has great malt and hop complexity and is extremely refreshing and drinkable (even our hops come from three different countries)!

On tap at the brewery

a- pours a light gold to almost straw color. Very clear, no hazing. Light pearly white head formation.

S- light malt, some corn like adjuncts seem present. Somewhat grainy.

T- very macro lager like. Easy start with 2 row and some husky grain notes. Mid stream reveals light bitterness and hop flavors. Finishes very clean

M- very soft texture. No carbonation bite. Lightly bodied

d- a winner here. Not filling or overwhelming on the palette. Abv is session friendly.

Welp, I know many on here complain about the lack of fine drinking "session" beers - but here's one !

Pleasant tasting brew, reminds me of a German pilsner with the full bodied malts, but with a light alcohol that makes for a easy session of imbibing. Nice balance of grains and bready dough. Almost thought some euro yeast taste appeared for the finish.

Of course it was the classic pilsner appearance of straw yellow - only bummer was the stadium pour without any head or lace. Still worked well for a "light" beer.

Sample at the brewpub: As with most brewpubs, this is the "gateway" beer to the world of craft beer. Why this selection is almost always a Blond/Light I’m not sure, since most brewpubs tend to be afraid to put too much flavor in it lest it scare away potential customers. This beer is a clear yellow-gold color with tiny bubbles and a compact white head that dissipates pretty quickly. Spotty lacing. Light, effervescent body with mild hops and clean malt flavors. The finish is lightly hopped and short. Standard stuff overall.

Pale clear golden color with a foamy white head that leaves some lacing in my glass . Light bready aroma, mild flavors of bread and grains, light bodied with a thin and watery mouthfeel, clean finish, not much flavor, but what do you expect from this style.
