Dark copper color, very hazy and topped by a thin white head that leaves little lace on the side of the glass. The aroma has a nice yeasty character, lots of fresh bread. There is light spice, and a nice citrus lemon orange note. The flavor mellows the bread dough, and substitutes lots of citrus orange. The malt is much more pronounced too. Light caramel, and just a touch of dates. The mouth feel is just a touch too sweet, itÂ’s on the border of being cloying, but there is no sense of alcohol at all. Decent drinkabikity. If some of the residual sugar had been allowed to ferment this beer would have been a real winner.
