The name of this one does not due it justice. To my surprise, it was a very tasty brew, it may be blonde but it was nicely loaded with Belgian yeast, sugar cane, and a smack of lemon in the finish.

The golden yellow brew starts sweet, but finishes well balance with those spicy hops. And, a touch of ginger for a different take on a Belgian style brew. Well done.

Poured into a pint.

A - Pours a hazy golden straw color. It head no head.

S - Smells of lemongrass and like others have noted like a cleaning product. I feel that the ginger is adding this not too attractive quality.

T - Ginger is immediately present with some citrus notes and mild sweetness. The ginger really ruins it for me because of teh fact that it makes the beer taste like a cleaning product. Ginger is a good refreshing and interesting spice for beer but in my opinion this beer doesn't execute it well.

M - Crisp and well baalnced. Light bodied.

D - Not so much

Pours a cloudy, golden color. 1/3 inch head of a white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of wheat, grass, yeast, and slight sweet malt. Fits the style of an American Blonde Ale. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp with an average carbonation level. Tastes strongly of grass up front, then slight lemon-citrus, slight hop background, and some yeast as well. Overall, the combination of lemon and grass emitted an unpleasant odor and tasted somewhat like stale bread. I would not order this again.

Pours a really hazy yellow/orangey color and was presented to me with no head.

The aroma was interesting but not pleasing. Some citrus hit me at first then followed by a big solvent note. Reminds me of a household cleaner.

The taste was weird and not pleasing. A big note of orange citrus then a bit of ginger and lemongrass come through. Really the big note is just solvent. Tastes like a lysol product. I've left beer in my glass once before at a bar and it was just so I was sure I could drive myself home. Tonight I left beer in the glass, but it was because the beer was horrible. This was that beer.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied and lightly carbonated.

Drinkability is fairly low. The flavor profile is a mess and not pleasing. There's really no getting past that.

Sample at the brewpub: This beer pours a clear yellow-gold color with a thin white head and a top ring of lace and spots underneath. Aroma of yeast and lightly peppery hops. Light-bodied and crisp with zesty spice, hops and fruit flavors. Underlying yeast throughout. The finish is sweetly spiced with a lightly bitter aftertaste. As with the other beers from Square One, this is above average.
