Originating in the town of Plzen in the Czech Republic, within 4 years of its creation it was being brewed virtually world wide. Slow laagering at very cold temperatures produces this very drinkable Czech classic. We have attempted to stay very true to the style by using a strain of lager yeast from the Czech Republic, where our Saaz hops were harvested as well.

Pours a clean and clear golden color, basically looks like a macro. It was presented to me with no head.
The aroma was weak, but decent. Some citrus and pale malt was available.
The taste is pretty good. Pale bready malt dominates the mouth with a burst of citrus up front and a slight bitterness on the finish. Quite tasty actually.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and moderately carbonated.
Drinkability is high. The flavor profile was pleasing, and being a pilsner it has assumably low ABV making for a sessionable beer. A nice summer refresher IMO.
