The beer pours a hazy golden yellow with a thin halo of white head. The nose is reminiscent of ripe pineapples and is a bit wheaty. The same ripe citrus fruit blends well with the wheat base and is a far more pronounced pineapple. The mouthfeel is quite tart with medium bodied sweetness, average carbonation, and has the gritty, coating, post-pineapple dryness (that you get from eating 1 too many pineapple rings) in the finish. I have general animosity towards fruit infused wheat beers (way too played out, and lambics are just...better), but I think they did a nice job with the pineapple to wheat ale ratio and fruit selection in this beer.
