On nitro @ Descendants Brewing in Milford, NJ.
Black color with a very small tan head. Aroma is great with dark chocolate and roasted malt. Things get a little odd with the flavor... Kind of a sweet, almost sweet/tart thing going on. Medium bodied and easy enough to drink. Remove the sour notes and you've got a killer Irish stout here that could rival Guinness.

On draught at The Ship Inn. Pint pour. It pours almost black with dark walnut hues and a cap of creamy, khaki-colored head and almost no lacing. The rather subdued nose features burnt coffee, char, molasses, chocolate, and caramel. It tastes just like it smells: it opens with bitter, burnt coffee grounds, char, tobacco, leather, and nuts. As the glass warms I can taste the chocolate but there is little sweetness. Served on nitro, it's super creamy but the overall mouth feel is rather thin. At only 5.2% ABV it's easy to drink. I noticed that it seemed to be a favorite in the pub. Overall, it's a nice pub/dessert stout. It has decent flavor without any gimmicks. It's solid but won't win any awards. It paired well with a dessert of bread pudding trifle with warm custard.
