From 2012: Banana is strong in the aroma and taste, and very smooth as well. Not overly sweet. Taste is one notch below the aroma. Good weizen style....

The review is based on notes taken a while ago and the BBE date I always tend to include in my reviews is lost. However, the beer was a fresh one - brought home as one of the many samples taken during my visit to Franconia, Germany.
Into tulip. As I'm finishing with pouring the beer the initial golden yellow body- topped by abundant white head collapsing to a stable cloth - progressively gets pale straw due to yeast deposit released into the glass. Leaning the glass produces nice stable lacings slowly sliding down the walls.
The nose is clove, banana and wheat. Flavor of wheat with slightly powdery sensation due to suspended yeast. Quite prickly light-medium bodied.

Pours slightly hazy yellow with streams of small carbonation bubbles, creamy and airy head with good retention. Aroma is mostly banana, mild cloves, it is quite subtle, but pleasant.
Taste is rather spicy with banana, citrus, clove and even more spicy and peppery finish. Mouthfeel is light with very high prickly carbonation.
Overall, an enjoyable Hefeweizen. Certainly not the best, it seems that the taste is rather subtle and the beers feels slightly too spicy.

Poured a huge white head that left. Glowing hazy straw colored beer is towards the lighter side for a Hefeweizen. Softly sweet aroma of pears and bananas. Mouthfeel is light and fluffy. Refreshing yeasty lemon flavor with hints of banana and wheat. Finishes with a hint of tart lemon. A refreshing and highly drinkable beer.
