Pours a big head of foam. More foamy and bubbly than the average Pilsner. Smells like it has extra cracker and bread notes. This doesn’t translate to the taste, which is mostly mineral and floral. The most floral Pilsner I’ve ever tasted. Slight citrus and cracker flavor. The hops only hit on the aftertaste. Could be your thing if you want a more feminine Pilsner, but it’s not for me. Tastes kinda like better quality Stella Artois with hops.

Rating this on pilsener merit, and this is a good one. Pouring gives a bountiful head that naturally dissipates and leaves touches of foam here and there about the glass. Not lacing per se, just some left over suds. Scent is predominantly honey, which may foreshadow a nightmare of flavor. But this is not the case. Drinking provides a light complexity of attributes including: grains, cracker, honey, lemongrass, fresh cut grass, and some lemony hops in the dry finish. Sweetness is muted = big win. Overall this is a thirst quenching, breezy and light, and semi dry pils that hits all the right notes. Underrated and excellent for style

A - Light gold colored pour with perfect clarity and a massive, rocky bright white creamy head with vibrant carbonation.

S - Light honey, crackery malt with earthy, grassiness over top.

T - Light, sweet honey malt with a slight bit of corn graininess, a little bit of earthiness, a little bit of grassy character and some citrus. Finishes with a moderate bitterness that lingers on teh palate for awhile after the sip.

M - Medium body with some thinness around the edges and gentle carbonation on the tongue.

O - Gentle and unobtrusive.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a crystal clear golden-amber color with a one finger head of fluffy white foam. The head fades very fast leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is strongest of a caramel sweet smell mixed with a buttery doughy smell and some notes of grain. Along with these smells comes a touch of apple and pear and notes of toffee.
Taste – The taste begins with a light grain and doughy flavor mixed with some of the caramel, apple, and pear sweetness in the nose. At the same time there is a very light earthy hop, along with a touch hay. As the taste advances the grain gets stronger, while the sweet lightens a bit, taking the taste to its end and leaving one with a nice crisp taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is crisp and sharp with a slightly more aggressive carbonation.
Overall – A pretty enjoyable Pils. A nice blend of grain, sweet, and clean malt. Would defiantly take this one on again.

From the half liter can, it poiurs a crystal clear light yellow color with a very nice large head that slowly reduces and leaves lacing. The nose gets grassy malt, followed by the mouth getting a slightly bitter lightly malty brew that is enjoyable and easy to drink.

very solid, quite hoppy, fresh in this instance, and frankly one of the best i have had from these guys, light and crisp, technically wonderful, and something that hits right on for fall for some reason, and is a beer i could drink all day long, love the racing bubbles, the way the hops sneak up at the end, and the minimal body but full character the grain has in the flavor, really well done. super blonde and clear from the can, big soda looking bubbles in this collecting into a super poppy and airy white head, high and lasting, beautiful pour. the nose is a little dusty, classically german, with some husky hully pils malt in play with a lot of earthy dry minerality and a somewhat more flattering expression of their lager yeast than i have known in their other beers, drier and quicker overall, with some herbal noble hops adding nice balance and a freshness that goes beyond just some late bitterness, very nice, very snappy and tight. the flavor is similar, the grain is light but has plenty of character, the ferment is complete and this is bone dry, and the hops have a lot of grassy freshness and trace spiciness, a hint of dried lime zest and even sage or something, very distinctive here and not out of proportion. nuances of wet concrete and white bread and dough, very bright and alive on the palate with a super light structure. more refreshing and quenching and easy than a lot of its peers, and overall a very classic but also very unique example of the style. i will look forward to drinking this one again!

Another hard-to-find brand in my area, but obtained on a recent trip. Pours very light yellow with an ample head (from a half-liter can). Smell is minimal, frankly. Taste is quite good, a very good imported pilsner. Flavor is mostly in the after taste though, sweet, malty, and well-balanced with hops & crispness. Definitely would get again, and my second excellent Tucher brew in a row.

Appearance

Pours a brilliant, crystal-clear light-gold color with a radiant, sunlit glow. The carbonation is active yet refined, forming a steady stream of lively bubbles that rise gracefully through the glass. A delicate white head settles quickly, leaving behind a faint lace of foam.

Aroma

The nose is inviting and layered: opening with steamed rice and soft grain notes, followed by nutty, toasted cereal accents. There’s a gentle sweetness reminiscent of wildflower honey, intertwined with floral and earthy tones. Light herbal hops and a hint of grassy freshness round out the bouquet, offering both comfort and complexity.

Taste

The flavor is clean, balanced, and highly approachable. A subtle sweetness appears upfront, quickly tempered by a gentle, drying hop bitterness. Prominent notes of toasted cereal, cooked grains, and malted bread provide a wholesome, rustic depth. Earthy, slightly herbal hops weave through the mid-palate, carrying into the finish with a refreshingly crisp bitterness that lingers without overwhelming.

Mouthfeel

Medium-bodied with a smooth, rounded texture. The carbonation is lively but not aggressive, giving the beer a refreshing, effervescent quality. The finish is crisp, clean, and satisfying, encouraging steady sipping.

Overall

A well-crafted, subtly complex, and thoroughly enjoyable beer. Its balance of malt warmth, gentle sweetness, and delicate hop bitterness makes it both easy-drinking and rewarding on closer inspection. A brew that feels comforting yet polished, rustic yet refined—an excellent companion for casual enjoyment or thoughtful tasting.

A: Pours an impressive and brilliantly clear yellow color. A dense white head forms with excellent retention and lace...this is a looker.
S: A simple but spot on aroma, with cracker like malts, grassy and zesty lemon like hops. Really good.
T: Cracker malts, baked bread, honey. Grassy and spicy/zesty lemon like hops. Lingering bitterness that dries everything out. Excellent.
M/O: A light to medium body. Perfectly crisp at first, but smooths out as this breaths. Wonderfully clean and dry. Which all leads to a very easy to drink pilsner. Downed in big gulps, as I like to say, and then I want to have another one...

This is a looker, downed in big gulps, and certainly less is more...all the cliches coming out for this one, but when it firs it fits. Just an all around excellent example of the style.
