Had on tap. Clear golden amber body, two fingers of white foam, spotted lacing. Smell and taste are the same: lush bread with bittering grassy hops, malt base is crisp and clean, with faint grain and maybe hay. Like a country inspired export lager honestly. Feel is light but never thin, crisp and clean with minimal lush tones. Not bad

Half liter bottle picked up at the massive getrankemarkt north of downtown Stuttgart. Best by 09.04.2024. Judging by the flavor and strength, I’d say this is more of an Export. Pours a super filtered golden yellow with a proper head. Nose and flavor are big on the sweet, fragrant malt with a hint of earthy hops. A unique beer. Tasty.

L- A bright yellow-gold, clear, pours with 1Cm fine-bubble white head.
S- Very mild in general.
T- Toasty grains, then some hops come in balancing up in the satifying finish.
F- It's got some oomph for 4.8%, more than a typical pilsener or 'basic lager' would.
O- Add up all the points^ and I'd rate this as a versatile beer, and sessionable too. I don't note anything out of place/'wrong'. It's quite dry, it has a decent meaty body for 4.8% It's refreshing. That said there is nothing really compelling enough about it to buy it again in the UK as a £-niche import,
500ml bottle BB: 05/04/2020. Bought in the UK from BeersOfEurope.

Pours a clear golden color with a huge, white head.

Smells of wheat, skunk and copper, together with a hint of toffee. Offers a note of grass underneath, together with even more toffee.

Has a very light, very metallic carbonation with an equally vivid effervescence.

Tastes of sweet caramel with a faint hint of herbal hops, calmed even more by soft wheat. Tastes pretty watery and one dimensional onwards from the mid palate, with toffee and some wheat. Finishes with a very subtle hop impact among a non developing flavor profile.

Pretty much an industrial brewed beer, which appears quite thin and effervescent, focussing on sweet malts.

Nice flavor, but subdued. Thick, creamy head with lots of carbonation keeping it up. Clear golden in color, aroma is faint hay and malt. Taste is nice, not too strong and not too bitter.

A: Golden, clear, medium head, decent retention.

S: Hints of honey and red cabbage.

T: Malt, grain honey. Sweet but not cloying.

M: Crisp, light body, moderate carbonation.

O: Subtle, balanced and refreshing, just what I want from a Helles.

Pours a nice pale yellow color. head is medium with low retention and low lacing. Smell is rich, complex, high presence of sweet barley malt. I am pleasantly surprised and I enjoyed it. It is a very good lager beer. I can buy it again without hesitate

500ml slim brown bottle, at 4.9%abv.; BB 21/06/09, served lightly-chilled in a pint-size weizen glass.

A: pours a golden hue with lively carbonation full of large bubbles, while the cottony white head sustains well; overall, looking overly fizzy.
S: an assertive note of lemony sourness typical of a lager bier comes on top of a mildly plastic note, floral hops, and a soothing backbone of grainy/nutty/honey-ish lager malts. Not bad, but there's nothing to write home about apart from the standard performance.
T: the pretty effervescent foretaste shows a decent honey-ish malty backbone behind random lemon syrup, but the hoppy edge comes rather timid in terms of aroma and bitterness; the finish is only slightly dry, not as crisp and clean as a German Helles or even Pilsner. It's more like an overall richer Czech Pilsner to me, for the malty elements are almost as rich as Moravian malts as in most Czech Lezak. Alas, the level of hop-bitterness doesn't stand up to the other elements in this beer, and the finishing touch is not integrated at all.
M&D: not too fizzy, yet the carbonation disappears on the palate rather abruptly; while the body remains medium, the overall mouthfeel gears slightly to the syrupy side. All in all, this is to me like a hybrid of Dortmunder and Czech Svetle Lezak as the malt dominates the profile on top everything else. An OK beer.
