This came with a thick, bone-white head with decent retention. The color was clear, deep amber and the nose had a mild sweetness. The mouthfeel was kind of thin with a pleasant sweetness on the palate. The finish had the expected rye bite, but as always, I wanted more intensity.

Sampled as part of the brewpub sampler platter. The pour was a very nice medium copper with a small off white head. Served very light on carbonation, the nose came out wwith its maltiness and then was subdued by an underlying yeastiness. Flavor started off the same way and eventually gave in to a winey flavor. Medium body with a nice substantial aftertaste.

64 oz. growler from the brewery.
Pours out golden amber and sits bright amber in the glass with a small off-white head fading to the sides.
Has a lemony, light citric aroma. Rye is light, but present. Caramel and light fruits also noted.
Sweet and mildly sour up front. Appley with some more citric tanginess; lemon character is strong and accompanied by flavors of grapefruit, not as appealing as it may sound, like a citrus flavored soda. Rye is only lightly available.
Clean and crisp in the mouth with nice carbonation and a medium body. Flavor seems way off to me, smells good but doesn't play the part.
