Poured from a 12oz bottle into a DT tulip. Extra special thanks to HeatherAnn for the assist and the hook-up!

A: Pours an ever so cloudy orangey/amber color with one-finger of creamy, just off-white head. Minimal lacing and relatively still carbonation.

S: Nice aromas of caramel and floral hops. Throw in a bit of toasty malt, roasted nuts, vanilla, toffee, and raisins.

T: Tastes like it smells. Caramel, toffee, toasted malt, vanilla, nuts, and raisins that taste a little booze soaked.

M: Creamy and full with a bit of spicyness and/or hop bitterness. Finish is sticky and hangs around for quite a long time.

D: Wasn't sure what to expect when Heather gave me these, but we were both pleasantly surprised.

A - Pours coppery, with a small, off-white head that lasts a bit and leaves behind a cap with little lacing. Hazy, with yeast in suspension.

S - Predominately sweet, malty, and fruity. A subtle hint of hops for balance. A note of raw alcohol as well.

T - Very sweet up front with plenty of toasted malt. Finish is fruity with a kiss (peck on the cheek, even) of bittering hops. There is an essence of alcohol on the swallow, with a candy sweetness.

M - A bit above medium-bodied. Carbonation is pretty aggressive and it prickles the tongue. This is my first bock, but that seems wrong for such a rich brew.

D - I could have one or two for variety, but I don't know as that I'd session it.

A solid beer I'd be willing to come back to, but the brewer needs to work on the bottled carbonation level.

A - Hazy copper with a thin off white head that disappears quickly.

S - Toasted malt, caramel and slightly earthy hops.

T - Sweet malt, slightly toasted caramel, candied toffee and earthy hops.

M - Slighty thin with a touch of sticky sweetness.

D - I haven't had many regular bocks but this one seems solid compared to the ones I have tried.

Aroma is toasted caramel malt, toffee and earthy hops. Pours transparent red-brown with a small head and decent lacing. Flavor matches aroma. Palate is sticky and smooth. A good example of the style and an overall good brew. Nice and full bodied, :).

Kind of opaque and cloudy and orangish gold. Little head. Not much of a smell. A little bit of sweetness and malt. Taste is a little bit better than the smell. It's sort of sweet and with a moderately rich malt flavor. But overall, kind of plain for a bock. Good consistency and pretty easy to drink but I'm somewhat disappointed. Not much there. I tasted it again just now... it's got a nice sweet flavor with no bitterness but nothing too special.

This beer pours a lovely clear reddish-orange color with a medium thin bone white head that sticks around. Stringy lacing. Toasted malt, caramel and hops in the nose. Medium-bodied and clean with sweet caramel malt, hops and light sweet fruit flavors. The finish is sweet up front and leaves a nice hoppy aftertaste. Overall this was a pleasant surprise, especially considering I am pretty unfamiliar with the style.
