Copenhagen 21/3 2017. 50 cl bottle from Irma. Some Easter flower and some Corn Ears to illustrate that this is a Easter Beer.
Pours slightly hazy golden yellow with small white head. Disappears fairly fast leaving lonely patch of foam drifting around.
Aroma of sour sharp citrus, metallic alcohol with moldy notes.
Strong prickly carbonation and watery palate.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by fruity sourness. Ok balance. Aftertaste is sourish but a bit thin.
Not bad but quite generic. But it could work out at an Easter Lunch.

Drank this from 70cl bottle shared at an Easter party here in Denmark.
This is not your traditional Danish Påskebryg instead something a bit more pale ale influenced.
Pours a nice cloudy orange amber with a 1.5 finger head that leaves little lacing as it goes down.
Not much aroma other than a light sweetness with some bready and yeasty notes.
Tastes alot like it smells but more pleasant almost like an amber ale with yeast & bread notes.
Overall I think that this has a nice mouthfeel and is well-balanced and goes down pretty well.
This is a nice Påskebryg, but it's tough to compare it directly with some of the more standard Danish Påskebryg. I could drink a couple of these in a session and will definitely look for it again next year.
