Copenhagen 3/4 2020. 37,5 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. As "Gourmetbryggeriet Witbier Sar". Green version of Gourmetbryggeriet's Nordic Passion brand. For some strange reason there is a quote from a Garden lover on the label (surprisingly she has always adored plants).
Pours unclear - almost hazy - golden yellow with a bubbly, medium-sized white head. Settles as thin patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Very moderate lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense, herbal and with a sweet odor of lemonade. Chamomile, herbal citrus and light odor of thyme. Sweet orange and white sugar.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, lightly tingling texture. A little sticky.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a light bitter undercurrent. Lingers for a bit.
A bit too sweet Witbier with a herbal touch. I adore plants as well but it does not make this beer any better.

500 ml bottle, as Gourmetbryggeriet WitBier. ABV is 4.8%. Bought in Denmark. Very pale straw coloured, big white head. Distinct aroma of citrus / lemons, hints of coriander and cloves. Soft mouthfeel. Refreshing flavour, moderately citrussy, distinct notes of coriander, hints of cloves. Moderate hops in the finish. OKish.

Bottle courtesy of thewolf: Poured a hazy whitish color ale with a good size head with average retention. Aroma of coriander and orange peel is quite dominant and interesting. Taste is also dominated by a nice presence of coriander and orange peel but unfortunately there is insufficient malt to sustain the body and the ending is really watery and disappointing. The presence of spice still provide a refreshing taste but there is still too much malt lacking to turn this one around.
