Copenhagen 6/4 2021. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. GB's usual design for their Nordic Passion brand. This time with a yellow stripe.
Pours murky maroon with a big off-white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as Thin almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, toasted malty odor mingling with light citric notes. Toasted malts, cardboard, honey, hints of caramel and brown sugar. Citrus and lemon grass.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a fairly strong sweetness followed by a moderate sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and lingers shortly. Finish is thin and sweetish.
Smells better than it tastes and fairly intense for a low alcohol beer.
