Gourmetbryggeriets Indian Pale Ale is an unfiltered golden beer, with a fresh, bitter aftertaste and an unsurpassed balanced taste. Enjoy with, for example, grilled chicken, salads with meat or as an appetizer. Recommended temperature for best enjoyment 5-7°C.

Copenhagen 17/10 2015. 75 cl bottle from Rema 1000, Frederikssundsvej, Kbh. NV. Another item in Gourmetbryggeriets series with "Belgian Beers". This time a Belgian IPA.
Pours hazy yellow with a very big white head. Settles as 1,5 cm thick layer of foam with some lacing.
Aroma is citrus and oranges and a little bit sharp sourness.
Medium strong carbonation and creamy palate.
There is not much IPA to the taste but some inspiration from Belgium is evident. Flavor is yeasty and nicely balanced between malty sweetness and sourness. Medium bitter aftertaste with some lingering citrus.
One of the better impersonations of Belgian Beer that I have tasted.
