GB Forårs Ale is a golden and fresh beer, with a full-bodied character. The body is elegantly balanced by spicy notes from the hops and fruity elements from the yeast. A true harbinger of spring! Can be enjoyed with spring lunches, salads, lamb and chicken dishes, with new asparagus and new potatoes. Recommended temperature for greatest enjoyment 4-6° C.

Copenhagen 3/4 2016. 75 cl bottle from Rema 1000, Frederikssundsvej, Kbh. NV. Something that looks like dandelion that has already dispersed its seeds on the label.
Pours slightly hazy pale yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as a 1 cm thick layer of foam. Covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Fruity aroma with some evidence that there is wheat involved. Lemonade sweetness and tart citric fruit dominates. Also distinct smell of yeast.
Fizzy carbonation and watery palate. Lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is balanced between sweet lemonade and sour tartness. Medium bitterness and tartness in the aftertaste.
As promised quite refreshing and do actually reminds me of spring: More sour than sweet. A bit too fizzy for my taste though.
