From notes I discovered a month later, having thought I had lost them as I left my last Wetherspoons of their autumn real ale festival.
A: pale straw colour; typical 'spoons head.
S: Nonexistent (I often have this problem with 'spoons beers, either nothing or a slightly acidic nose: not sure what it is they do to them which renders the nose so minimal....)
T: Earthy, bsicuit start gives way to a good acidic twang (reminding me of the typical 'spoons nose I failed to find with this one); no sweetness in the finish, but biscuity again.
F: Slightly oily on the tongue
