Poured on cask into a pint glass in the Pen & Wig pub, near the student union in Cardiff.
Pours a clear amber colour with a very nice head and lacing all down the glass.
Smells nicely hoppy, a classic bitter.
Taste is very balanced, again like a classic bitter. Maybe leaning slightly towards the hops giving a clean bitter finish that isn't overpowering at all.
Overall a lovely afternoon ale, a classic, crisp tasting bitter. A lovely drop which I could drink all day.
