Named after a famous, or if you like, infamous, West Wales Admiral of the Fleet, shot at the battle of Waterloo. This ale, with its serious citrus nose and deep amber lustre, would have revived him and helped considerably in his R & R.

Served on cask into a pint glass in a pub in Cardiff.
Pours a dark-ish but clear amber colour with a thick foamy head.
Smells very malty with a hint of hoppiness to it. Very subtle.
Tastes oh so lovely, perfectly balanced between medium-light malts and the hops. Very smooth and goes down a treat.
Overall a lovely pint, definitely glad I tried this.
