Bottle shared by Pino, 650ml into a tulip. Picked up from the brewery.

Pours a dark brown, with a light tan collar - some chestnut highlights in the body. Whispy and mild retention, which struggles to stay intact. Nose of milk chocolate, some wood and earthy notes as well. Taste is of some chocolate a slight sourness (lactic), woody and some mild dark breadiness. Mouthfeel is thin, watery and again, I can't get away from these sour notes - some infection issues likely? Low carbonation and not too drinkable, this sample was more than enough. Not that good.

Bottle from the brewery

Cola coloured, decent soapy white head, spots of lace. Smell is of oak and roast malt, vanilla and coffee like notes, oak dominated this though. Tate is of liquorice and slightly sour, slight roasty notes, oak and vanilla present, this may have been oxidized in bottling and perhaps thats the reason for unpleasant sourness. Light carbonation and body, decent enough feel. More carbonation and less of that sourness would have went a long way here, would pass on this next time.

Better than the original, sort of. Dark with oaked and strange wooden chemical treated taste. Lace lines. Pieces of oak in a light mouthfeel. Looks like coke, tastes like something else dark.Peeno's bottle from the brewery.Bitterness from the wood? Some sugar.
