Growler filled at the brewery a few hours ago.
This is Pilot batch # 66 from the fellas, brewed by Ryan Kipp & Justin Perrone. "Black dog in english describes this very clean, crisp German black lager brewed w/a hint of liquorice"
Pours near black, dark mocha head, moderate in size, leaving a slight collar, fine film and ample nice looking fine smaller fields and bits of super fine lace.
Dark malts and chocolate on the nose.
Milk chocolate, liquorice, dark malts on the palate, with hops in the finish to add the snap.
Easy drinking and tasty brew.
