Pilot Batch #69, brewer: Doug Roberts
"Dark brown ale w/a thick and creamy head. Brewed w/10 different grains to give depth and complexity"
Growler filled at the brewery a day or two ago.
Pours dark dark brown, mocha head that lasts nicely and leaves a tiny bubble film, thin collar and real nice looking fields of fin lacing. Quality looking brew.
Dark malts, maple, caramel in the nose.
Flavorful brown ale. On the bold and flavorful side and at 7.4% this one is packing a punch. More Maple, caramel and waves of smooth dark malt notes. Nicely done.
Fine winter sipper.
