" A rose colored ale (currant juice) is made with 2 row pale malt and flaked corn to lighten the body. Hopped w/citra"

Brand new pilot batch offering, growler filled at the brewery yesterday...

Pours the advertised rose hued amber, under a long lasting and looser head, leaves a slight film and scattered delicate lace.

Fruity nose with some sugary sweetness.

More fruit on the palate, with notes of melon, and strawberry. Adequate hops in the finish to dry things out and avoid any cloying sweetness.

Different. One of the sweeter CL brews I've encountered. Took a little getting used to, but in the end I found this one, enjoyable, easy drinking and likely a fine warm weather accompanyment for lighter fare
