"The Rose Bud blended w/ wine barrel aaged golden sour which gives more floral flavors w/a slight sour edge" Brewed by Justin Sturgess
This is a style blender/hybrid style beer, I'm gonna ask Justin what sytle he'd call this but I'm expecting to get a shrug of the shoulders...
Anyway, this is from a grolwer filled at the brewery a few days ago and enjoyed on a cold winter's nite from a tulip glass.
Pours a delicate and nice looking redish amber with a definite rose hue. The delicate head also boasts that same rose hue. Nice lookin' w/ some low sheeting along with fine and high webs of lacing.
Floral nose comes through loud and clear, with some herbal hops in the rear.
Interesting and complex creation. The pale ale of the Rose bud shows itself with the sweet of the currant juice and the hoppy snap from the citra. Add the sour edge from the wine barrel aged golden sour and you have something tasty, flavorful and quite alluring. Nice job here Justin and the CL brew crew
