64 oz growler was poured into a Spiegelau glass.
Appearance: A two finger off white head was poured that reduced to a thin layer. It is a copper amber color with good clarity and vision of bubbles coming up through the glass. Frothy lacing down the glass as the beer was drank too.
Smell: Resiny pine, citrus, bittersweet chocolate, toasted malts, caramel, and toffee.
Taste: Same as above. Nice pine and citrusy hops, mild bitternes, chewy, chocolate, and sweet notes from the malt bill too.
Mouthfeel: Smooth, a little chewy, mild bitterness, medium bodied, and medium carbonation.
Overall: Good choice on the growler fill from the local Beverage Barn in Garden City on Long Island. Every time visiting friends, we always bring growlers for NY we can't get here in Boston. Another solid choice.
