Growler filled from the cask at the brewery this afternoon.
Pours cloudy honey hued amber, minor head and leaving next to no lacing.
Typical pale ale sniff with a more then moderate coffee aroma. Hmmm... different and kinda interesting
Tasty pale ale, mild hop presence balanced by a smooth caramel malt base. Coffee note on the palate is milder then the sniff.
Cask carbonation = super smooth mouthfeel
Enjoyable pale with a moderate hop note augmented by the coffee ..... another quality offering from the Captain
