A: Warm, chestnut brown. Creamy, very fine head. Waterfall lacing.
S: Woodsy, orange stems. Very earthy hop presence supported by musky spice of rye.
M: Smooth feel, medium body and carb. Semi dry finish.
T: Orange, herbal pine. Hop florals. More of a maple sweetness but this may be because of rye. Still a biting, herbal bitterness at finish.

This is a superb rye IPA. A reddish light brown with an impressive head displaying very good retention and lacing. Nose has lots of earthy hops and spicy rye. An undercurrent of pine and caramel sweetness. Taste is front loaded hops. Earth and graperuit. Zippy, spicy rye. Just enough malt sweetness and bread to add balance. Dry finish leaves a lingering hop oiliness. Full mildly creamyy mouthfeel. Dry and quenching with a refreshing swallow. An excellent offering that I hope gets bottled.
