Unfiltered muddy pond water brown. Bread crust and leafy hop aroma. Toast and black pepper early bitter flavor with a lot of chocolate in the finish.

11/1....brewery draft.Pours cloudy amber, golden brown and hazy. Ring of white foam. Soft malty nose. Smoky. Healthy toasty hop pokes out. Woodsy/earthy. Interesting blend, but the hop is a bit pokey.

"A toasty, smoky deep copper "ESB". Hopped with Fuggles."
Enjoyed at the mothership and now reviewed from a 1/2 growler.
Pours darker, clouded amber, lazy medium khaki head, leaves scattered bits of lacing behind on the glass
Nose of malty goodness
Malt, malt and more malt...Notes of caramel, vanilla, maple, and some light smoke....sweet, but nowhere near cloying..quite tasty as a matter of fact...nice nightcapper
