On tap at Butapub in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a pale golden yellow, with a small foamy head, and a little bit of lacing.
This one smells like smoked grain and vegetal peppers. Doesn't smell a whole like an IPA.
This suffers from too much going on. The smoked character, and the pepper character completely detract from the base beer, whatever that may be. The peppers are kind of unpleasant and vegetal, the smoke doesn't meld well, and the base just seems watery and bland. Would not recommend this one, really.
This is light bodied, kind of a watery mouthfeel here.
Hard pass with this one.

11/1...closer at the brewery. Pours pale gold, clean ring of foam. Light peppery nose. Crisp. taste is a smooth malt with a jalapeno burn that rolls in at the end and burns HOT. But somehow works and creates a tasty finish. Nice!

"Smoked wheat IPA with equinox hops and fatali chili peppers from Old Hook Farm in NJ"
Enjoyed at the brewery and now from a 1/2 growler,
Pours near clear medium almond amber, slight lite kahki cap, that quicly goes to a fine bubble film, and leaves some lasting low sheeting and strands of lace.
On the nose I get peppers with a moderate heat bite
Spiced up IPA with chili in medium amounts...not too hot (for me at least) but chili def in evidence and bringing about moderate heat. You will know this is a chili spiked IPA and if that is something you like, you will likely like this...If chili is not your sthing....well, better stay away....In my not so humble opinion, this is just about on point and I really enjoyed it...go get some all you chili heads out there and enjoy.
