A lager at heart, malty, crisp and refreshing, with the hoppy aroma that you would expect from an India Pale Ale. This beer is a hybrid that takes two very different styles, Pilsner and IPA, and mashes them up into a unique, highly-drinkable beer.

Clear, golden color. Medium-sized, white head. Hoppy aroma with notes of tropical fruits ( grapefruit dominates). Refreshing bitterness in taste with malt presence on the background. Crisp with a dry finish.

Golden see through with an orange tinge to this brew with an off white head. Citrus, tropical fruits and a slight malt backing ooze from the nose of this beer. Easily one of the best flavored IPL's available that I've had. I'll call it piney and slightly sweet grapefruit hops with a slightly bitter finish. Well carbonated with a medium mouth feel. Overall a very good beer here.

12oz bottle into a pint glass. dating hard to decipher, but it looks like bottled date of January 2017.
Looks really good in the glass. almost clear deep yellow body with generous white head leaving decent lacing.
Aroma is mostly of the mango type.
Mango doesn't really come through on the palate, but overall taste is pretty good and refreshing.
Mouth is around medium, finish slightly dry.
overall, the alcohol is pretty well hidden, and it's an enjoyable quaff.

Pour pale yellow-orange with minimal head but persistent lacing. Smell is of tropical fruit and malt. Taste is a great example of the style- tropical fruits are backed by bready malt. Mouthfeel is crisp but neither thin nor particularly thick. Tasty and solid example of the style.

On-tap 1/22/2017 at Battleship Brewhouse in Fall River, MA, served in a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a deep gold color, with a medium off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains grassy hops, lager yeast, citrus and caramelized malts.
T: The taste starts out with a mild citrus and caramel sweetness that is quickly followed by some breadiness from lager yeast and a hearty malt character. The hops presence I s grassy in flavor but not over-powering and provides a good balance. The after-taste is slightly bready and slightly hoppy.
M: Crisp and a little smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down ok, not too filling, decent kick, good representation of style, this is a solid beer to drink for a while.
