enjoyed at the brewery and now at home from a 1/2 growler
"Malty, silky, round, orange with a delicate fatali pepper aroma and a bit of a burn!"
Love it, sweet malty octoberfest brew, pumped up with hot chili peppers..yeah captain....,way to push the envelope
Pours clouded brownish darker amber, frothy medium khaki cap, goes to a thicker film, and leaves respectable looking low sheeting and spotty lacing.
Brown sugar, darker malts and peppery spice on the nose.
Sweet malts and brown sugar up front on the palate, then a moderate chili note and moderate heat. Nice balance of the sweet and the heat. Peppers/chili on the back end, just about right definatly present , but not burning too hot...nicely crafted and highly enjoyable brew, especially if you enjoy a well crafted chili infused brew.......go get some while its still on tap at the captain.
