Had a pint at their brewery. Nice Belgian style dubbel ale with some kick. This all about the great malt flavors. This is perfect beer for a winter night by the fire.

Captain Lawrence Strong Like Bull
American Strong Ale · 8.6% · Elmsford, NY
"A hearty Pale with notes of biscuit and raisin, prefect for the colder months"
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Enjoyed a sample or two at the brewery and now reviewing from a 1/2 growler.
Pours cloudy medium almond amber, fine bubble coating film, low sheeting and also leaves some strands of lacing on the glass.
Biscuity/malty nose
Earthy notes, ripe fruit, yes, some raisiny undertones
Malty brew, smooth and tasty...nice cold weather sipper
