Sampled on tap at the brewery (with the brewer of this one, Elise) and now enjoyed at home from a 1/2 growler.
Pours very dark, near black...darker khaki cap, and leaving nice looking spots and strands of lacing.
Dark malts on the nose
On the palate its roasted sweet dark malts, and more dark malty goodness......tasty and enjoyaboe black ale...nicely crafted by Elise and Captain L....go get some before it is gone
