"This lovely malty Brett sour ale will make you reminisce about old friwnds and hopefully let you make new ones"

Enjoyed a pint at the brewery and new reviewed at home from 1/2 growler
Pours lightly hazed typical almond, quickly departing khaki cap...leaves just a slight tiny bubble film, thin collar and very minor tiny bits of lacing
Non descript nose of some malt and perhaps some earth
They call this one a "brett" ale, but I'm not really getting all that much brett...oh well....malty, maybe some more earth/mustyness/funkyness...maybe....slight sour with some smokeyness is noted...meh....subtle brett character, moderatly sour....not my favorite offering from the good captain...but still worth a try if you like a mildly sour brew thats on the malty side

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
