"A rich, silky decoction-mashed with pilsner, Munich and honey malt. Also with the addition of crystal, hellertau and amarillo hops"

Enjoyed at the brewery and now reviewed from a 1/2 growler
Pours hazed, typical amber, moderate khaki cap, leaves a thin collar and some loose low sheeting.
Malted up sweet nose
This is a malty and semi sweet brew, with notes of sweet malt, honey and some ripe fruity goodness....smooth and tasty and packing a punch at over 8%...more solid and worthy brew from the good captain
