Another good candidate for an IPA - Imperial New England style!!!! Good beer too!!!! Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass. This beer is light straw yellow in color with a medium sized foamy white head. Head retention is good and there is some light lacing on the glass. Taste and aroma are a bit stronger than most NE IPAs and tropical fruit juices are much more pronounced than the usual citrus mix that features grapefruit. The bitterness level is a bit stronger than many NE IPAs too - that is a bonus!!! Mouthfeel is rich and crisp. A little more bitter than smooth like so many NE IPAs and a hint of the alcohol level. Basically a good hoppy (mostly NE) Imperial IPA!!!

On tap, 12 ounce serving. Retired?
Foggy it is, fogged out pale yellow color with a white cap and lots of lacing.
Citrus and tropical juice mix aroma.
Grapefruit and orange, sugar, pineapple, sweet tarts.
Medium bodied with bright carbonation. Sweet malt and juicy hops. Lots of grapefruit rind.
A genuine neipa. Juicy yet not killer.

Not as juicy as I'd like, but quite pleasing, with a soft pillowy feel. While nothing particularly stands out, everything seems to be in harmony and it leaves you well satisfied. Enjoyed this much better than the Comet hops version, but then I much prefer Galaxy to Comet.

Pours a hazy golden color with a thumb sized off white head that laces pretty well.
Aroma is tropical fruits pinnapple, mango, manderin oranges but also has a good citrusy bite of grapefruit and pine notes too.
Taste is tropical fruit up front with a good citrus bitterness and pine in the finish. Like a combo of styles a NE with some descent hop bitterness to finish it off.
Mouhfeel is a big medium with pretty peppy carbonation.
Overall not a bad NEIPA, it's got more hop kick then most which man's it more enjoyable.

Poured a cloudy, yellow body with minimal head and lace patches. The aroma is mild, has notes of citric hops with hints of grapefruit and a touch of malts. The beer is thick, juicy, has both grapefruit and tropical fruit sweetness underneath a citric bitterness. Minimal malts give the beer heft and a touch of sweetness. Easy to drink DIPA and is enjoyable.
