Our collab with Civil Society Brewing: “We Must Be Friends”. A Black IPA brewed with Cascade and Simcoe hops & Mosaic lupulin powder. They left the warm and sunny Florida to brew some beer in frozen New York which made us think, we must be friends!

Tall can, packaged a few days ago and released yesterday at the brewery
Pour darkest shades of brown, nice looking light mocha head, leaves fine ringed and scattered lace.
Just a hint of dark roast on the nose
More dark malts, chocolate, a bit of cafe au lait on the palate up front, then hopped up and drying in the finish. Balanced and tasty, nice new one from the Captain and Civil Society
