2017 edition
----------------------------------
12.7 oz bottle, corked and caged
Pours clouded medium brown, moderate darker khaki cap, quickly departing, and leaving a fine collar, and minimal bits of lacing.
Malted up nose
Carbonation seemingly of the high side, bordering on prickly.
Malty brew, seemingly more of a Belgian double then a brown ale, with a candi sugar feel, rum soaked raisin notes, and again higher levels of carbonation showing. Tasty and enjoyable, but might need some time in the bottle to mellow out and come together properly.
