Fall 2017 version of this one....tall can purchased at the brewery, no canning date info to be had...
Pours dark brown and murky, moderate light mocha cap, leaves some fine bubble low sheeting.
Sniff turns up notes of roasty malts, some nuts, and a hint of some perhaps lactose related yogurtyness.
On the palate its again the malt (with a bit of roast), nuts and thankfully less if any lactic tang.
All in all not my favorite brown, enjoy the nuttyness, but the lactose seems to have steered this one into a strangely off putting zone.
