An aromatic beer with notes of citrus, pine, a noticeable bitterness, and a touch of malty backbone to help balance it out.

I tried this at the brewery. It poured a clear golden with white head that left some lace. The scent had faint bitter hop presence. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with citrus flare. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

Served on tap at the Captain Lawrence Brewery.
A: Pours a nearly clear amber to light copper with a foamy off white head, decent retention, and solid lacing.
S: Displays a floral bouquet with aromas of caramel and white pepper.
T: Surprisingly bitter up front with caramel and celery flavors predominating.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate effervescence.
O: A nicely designed, but somewhat more bitter than average American Pale Ale. Drinkable without being a real standout.

Enjoyed at the brewery a few hours ago and now enjoyed at home from a 1/2 growler.
Pours a nice glowing shade of almond amber, near clear, under a light mocha cap, leaving more then ample fine sheeting and lacing all up the sides of the glass.
Light rye and maple malts and then light resiny hops on the sniff.
This is a well crafted and delicious APA. Malts and hops fresh, tasty and nicely balanced...Delicious stuff...well worth a try.
