Poured from a 12oz can into a speiglau glass.

Look is a cloudy yellow orange with a full slightly off white head.

Aroma is a little onion and herbal with a little lemon pith.

Taste is much more bright and fruity.

This beer tastes huge for a 5.9% IPA. Delicious.

The beer pours out into a Duvel glass a hazy, orange tinged, amber color with a 1/2” ivory head that soon recedes leaving a sheet of foam around most of the glass and an island of foam on the liquid. Sipping creates some arches of lacing with some small patches and legs.

The aromas include some tropical fruit and some stone fruit (peach, apricot) with just a bit of citrus mixed in. There’s also some bready malt and a bit of earthiness.

The flavors are much as expected from the nose but with some malty sweetness up front that is backed up by a bit of citrus, the tropical fruits and the stone fruits. There’s also a bit of pine and some earthy, citric bitterness.

The mouthfeel is medium bodied and fairly smooth with the light, slightly prickly carbonation. The finish begins as the fruity sweetness begins to recede, allowing the piney earthy bitterness, to show a bit more and then it too begins to fade to a dry lightly bitter but still lightly fruity ending in the middle and back of the palate.

On the whole I’ve enjoyed this beer and would be fine with having another. It’s well balanced so that all the fruity flavors and earthy bitterness get a chance to play.

Drinkable IPA with a juicy tang, the Mosaic brings out great flavor in improving the brews drinkabilty. Good beer, maybe not the hoppy explosion I’m looking for in an Indian Pale Ale.

Pours a little hazy with a largish head that leaves good lace. Nose is really nice. Honestly, it smells a lot like a Treehouse beer, which really surprised me. It has that same yeasty character with plenty of hoppy stone fruit. Taste isn't quite as nice, but still solid...maybe more of a pale ale flavor profile than IPA. Overall, a very good beer.

Served on tap at the Captain Lawrence Brewery.
A: Pours a hazy, golden to amber color with an off-white, low retention, and some lacing.
S: A slightly, unripened peach aroma predominates.
T: A strong peach note clearly present, but the maltiness is much, much more evident than in the nose. Not too much pine. Grainier and grassier also, with a complementary dose of bitterness..
M: Medium bodied with no more than light carbonation.
O: A very enjoyable and drinkable IPA.

Solid offering here. Wonderful flavor and aroma. Very fruity with a solid hop presence. Glad to have this as a local offering. If you like Jai Alai or other floral and fruity IPAs, this one is up your alley.
