Picked-up a four-pack of cans at Kappy's in Norwell for about eighteen dollars. Have had, & liked brews from these guys before. My first brew with lupulin...decent, would not buy again (too much $)....

Pale, orange-yellow body; thick, soapy white head. Big fruit aroma; citrus, melons, strawberries. Tart flavors; grapefruit and orange; light presence of cereal grain; strong hop bitterness. Medium body; dry and tart on the palate although some juicy sweetness also makes a presence.
The Mosaic and Simcoe hops do quite a number with this beer. In many ways, the beer starts out rather subtle, but let each sip develop, and you get some strong IBU presence on the tongue. The aromas blend well and are quite pleasing. A fine beer...

A: Pours a hazy medium golden yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and moderate bight medium yellow + honey colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy white head that reduces to a small to medium sized patch of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of very thin film covering the majority of the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Slightly heavier than moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of juicy tropical/pineapple, tropical/passionfruit, tropical/papaya, citrus/orange, citrus/grapefruit, and tropical/mango hops over the top of light aromas of biscuit malts with a hint of caramel sweetness.
T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of biscuit malts with a hint of caramel sweetness. That is followed by slightly stronger than moderate flavors of juicy tropical/pineapple, tropical/passionfruit, tropical/papaya, citrus/orange, citrus/grapefruit, and tropical/mango hops which impart a hint of bitterness which fades away almost instantly leaving juicy fruity hop flavors lingering.
M: Slightly lighter than medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly crisp upfront with a hint of dryness in the finish.
O: A really nice juicy NE style IPA that really lets the hop flavors + aromas shine with minimal bitterness. Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol.

A: The beer is hazy yellow in color and has some hues of amber. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that died down and left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, and some lacing down teh sides of the glass.
S: Faint aromas of passionfruit, pineapples and citrusy hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has a bit stronger flavors of citrusy and tropical fruit hops. There is only a slight amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and a little crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA is all about the flavor of the hops—there is hardly any associated bitterness at all.
