This IPA has been brewed using a healthy dose of imported Pilsner malt and malted oats to create a smooth mouthfeel, then dry-hopped with Galaxy lupulin powder for an earthy aroma and ripe fruit finish.

A: The beer is very hazy dark yellow in color. It poured with a short white head that died down very quickly, leaving lots of specks of bubbles covering the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of citrusy hops are present in the nose along with hints of passionfruit.
T: The taste has flavors of orange citrus with notes of tropical fruits—pineapples seem to stand out in particular. There is a slight amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and slightly crisp with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I liked the blend of citrus and pineapple flavors in the taste of this beer.

$6/16 oz. @ BrĂĽ Craft & Wurst, Philadelphia, PA on 9 July 2018
Look: Hazy deep golden/amber body beneath a finger thick head of creamy white foam. Very good lacing but only OK head retention.
Smell: Resinous, "dank", piney, light earth, citrusy/tropical.
Taste: The flavor reveals more malt, which is grainy, lightly bready/biscuity, and sweetish. There are lots of hops going on with some mild tropical fruits and citrus that includes pineapple, grapefruit, and mango. It's solidly bitter but not overdone, leading to a dry, earthy, piney and mineralish finish with some residual malt fading steadily.
Feel: Decidedly medium in body with a crisp-then-smooth feel.
Overall: Quite nice. Well worth trying.

yellow-light orange in color with half finger of frothy white head. Aromas abound with orange, mango and other assorted citrus and tropical. Taste is extra smooth with fresh pulpy fruit and a great balance with the fruitiness and bitterness of the hops. No harshness and very pleasant to drink. Finishes clean and fresh with light orange nunces.

I haven't reviewed in years.... But I was really impressed with this. I had grown tired of the hazy ipa craze, but this is the whole package. I don't think some of these regional Brewers get as much attention as the small guys but this really does it for me. Showcases all dimensions of the Galaxy hop. Makes me think of what I wish the 'born yesterday' series was.... And I really loved that.

Meeting Amber, clear, small head.
Grapefruit and citrus around.
Flavor is grapefruit peel, fresh squeezed orange juice and a hint of Earth
Medium feel with moderate carbonation.
Interesting, but I'm curious what the lupulin prefer brings to it rather than standard hopping.
