look: 4.25 | smell: 4 | taste: 4 | feel: 4.25 | overall: 4.25

Pours a hazed & effervescent gold with a pinky of cream colored head. Pretty nice head retention & lacing

S: Tropical & citrussy, tangerine mostly, once warm, some mango

T: Sweet orange, a little pineapple , mango & plenty of dryness up front. Orange sweetness & a powdery dryness dominates as this warms, some breadyness & grapefruit with a smidge of mango backfills the edges. Tangerine, dryness, a little pineapple & lime in the finish

MF: Medium body, subtle carbonation, nice balance

Great drinkability, ABV well masked, super solid IPA

Poured into snifter. Fairly hazy but not turbid. Somewhere between golden and amber on the color with a frothy white head. The aroma was medium-intensity, not bad for a 3-month old beer, with citrus and tropical notes. Some bready malt presence as well. The taste was bright tangerine, orange, mango. Again, some bready malt but impressively restrained for the age of this one. Medium clean bitterness that lingered nicely. Medium feel and clean. Would love to get this one fresh, but this is very enjoyable now as well. Thanks Wasatch!

16 oz. Can
Canned: 08162018

3 months on this can.

Poured into a Tree House glass a pretty nice cloudy yellow/orangy color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger white head, which also leaves some nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, mango, guave, apricot), pretty nice little diesel like. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, mango, guave, apricot), pretty nice little diesel like. Medium body, ABV is hidden pretty well, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a pretty tasty brew, even with 3 months on it, glad to see it around here. Orange Julius! Addictive! Milk Shake!

16 oz can. Pours murky dark gold with a medium frothy white head that goes to a thin film that laces the glass.

The aroma is very sweet perfumey toffee malt with some fruit.

The flavor is sweet bready malts with big floral green resiny hops and some fruit. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Overall, not my favorite NE IPA. Didn't care as much for the floral green hops and malt.

Pours a clear straw yellow with a small head and some lacing. Nice hoppy aroma and flavor with citrus in the forefront and some tropical fruit and pine notes as well.

Pours a little on the hazy side with a finger of head that leaves a little lace. Nose is mango and orange creamsicle and a little yeasty...this seems like it will be good. Both the creamy tropical citrus and the yeasty notes are forward in the flavor. Bitterness seems pretty soft at first, but then comes through a bit more in the finish. Only complaint is the amount of yeast and sediment in the bottom of the glass. Second pour from the can was soup. Oh well...comes with the style I guess. Overall, pretty damn good beer.

Hazy orange, some floaties, not much in the way of head but good retention, minimal lace.
Big nose of mango, citrus, some pine and assorted tropical.
Lots of mango, some pine, good amount of assorted citrus, a bit of pineapple
Spot on for an IPA! Medium bodied, medium carbonation, mouthfilling but crisp.
Pretty good beer, but not worth the cost retail

Hazy, dark gold body; thick, fluffy yet rocky head. Strong citrus aroma; orange and lemon. Bready malts, citrus and tart flavors; lemon pith; strong bitterness. Heavy body; crisp, acidic, with a strong juicy tartness.

This is a powerhouse beer, certainly close to double IPA territory, and certainly highlights a dry, lightly astringent, and suggestively juicy beer. Bitter and citrus-like through and through. Very good stuff...
