Can dated 10/11/18 into pint glass. Pours a very hazy burnt orange-amber with a thin off-white head. Initial impression is a nice juicy NEIPA that hits all the hot buttons: citrus, mango, floral notes, juicy, fluffy mouthfeel, etc. But this is a nicely restrained NEIPA - they didn't go overboard on anything, so everything fits together nicely. There is just enough bitterness to keep it from being sweet, but just enough sweetness to avoid being labeled bitter. Mouthfeel is soft and medium-bodied; carbonation is perfect. Finish is smooth with a slight lingering bitterness. Excellent!

Appearance - Pours hazy burnt orange with a nice fluffy white head and lost of spotty lacing.

Aroma - Big sweaty earthy hops, mild onion, little bit of overly ripe orange and tangerine.

Taste - Ripe orange, citrus peel, earthy hops, caramel, mild malts. Grains

Feel - medium bodied good carbonation

Overall - not a fan of this one, onion and malts not a fan of the flavors.

Captain? Captain !!
Captain ? Captain !!

Look: gold light haze , not the NEIPA juicebomb look, it looks like a beer LOL! Captain !!

Smell: citrus IMHOpinion a blend of citrus flavors, no distinction from one to another.

Taste: tastes like a straight up citrus almost west cost IPA more than a NEIPA.
Industrial arts wrench is a TOTAL NEIPA.
This is not. It’s tastes great but its not a NEIPA IMHOpinion
feel: ALWAYS PRIVATE...back off ! GRrrrrrr
Overall:
A quality beer on their powder dreams series
Drinkable, no doubt , it is tasty .
This version of PDreams does not disappoint.

True to its name this beer taste like the most pleasant, chill daytrip imaginable. It starts with the puffy, cumulus cloudlike head that sits on a liquid the color of a late Autumn aspen forest. The aroma is pleasant, but with a pungent orange spice and some herbal essence. The feel is a as mellow as repeatedly swapping a melting blue raspberry jolly rancher between wet cheek and dry cheek. It does differ when drinking out of a glass; it's much drier and tightly wound when done this way. Tasting notes of clover honey sticks, fresh hay, and blended with a freshly juiced tangerine. Dry orangina, tart cranberry glaze, guava cake, lemon pith shavings.

Absolutely not a fan of this New England IPA. Did not like the taste at all. Bitter and not sweet and juicy enough to be categorized as a New England IPA. Purchased because of the high Beer Advocate score, and because the Powder Dreams Captain Lawrence does with Citra Lupulin Powder & VIC secret hops was very very good. This one nowhere near as good. Bummed and I have 3 left to give away.

Poured from a 16oz can into a Trillium IPA glass.

Look is a hazy yellow with a billowy white head.

Aroma is slightly fruity with a flowery note at the end.

Taste is pithy bitter with a slight tropical fruit at the end.

Light and easy drinker.

A truly phenomenal smelling beer bursting with tropical fruit and secondary dank notes. However the taste is merely good, it’s softly fruity and mildly sweet but entirely bereft of bitterness or those dank undertones. I suppose this is where we’re at with the NEIPA style but it leaves a little to be desired in that in just skews in one direction too heavily and lacks any semblance of balance. It’s fine and inoffensive but not up to the level of some of the other offerings in this series - I was particularly partial to the Vic Secret version.

Another great release in the series... Hazy medium-pale gold with a fluffy white head on top... floral and zesty, with soft, juicy citrus and fragrant tropical and orchard fruits and flowers... Plush feel, soft and smooth... 9/27/18 canning...

Tall can...9/26/2018 stamped on the bottom.

Hazed up NEIPA kinda pour, leaves delicate, fine lacing and low ringed sheeting.

Dank and intriguing tropical fruit sniff.

Ripe, soft, fragrant tropical fruits on the palate, with , melon, pineapple, mango all coming to mind....smooth, complex and overly delicious...go get some
