"Foudre aged sour golden ale, blended with dragon fruit pulp to give the beer a bright pink color and a tart fruit forward flavor."
Enjoyed on tap at the brewery and now from a 12.7 oz, caged and corked bottle. 2018 vintage.
With the yeast from the bottom, this a medium hazed brew, light amber, with a medium plum hue...low carbonation, leaving zero cap, no film, or lacing left on the glass.
Lovely sniff of peaches, and assorted stone fruits.
On the palate its about medium sour/tart, with more fruity notes, bright, sophisticated, complex and thoroughly enjoyable...fine creation from the Captain...Sour/wild beer lovers rejoice....go get some.
